Data Deletion
Learn how to delete your data from NephroPulse. Our privacy-first design makes this straightforward.
We Don't Store Your Data
NephroPulse is designed to be completely offline. We have no servers that store your health data. This means there's no account to delete, no cloud data to request removal of, and no waiting period - because we simply don't have your data in the first place.
Where Your Data Lives
On Your Device
All your health data, medications, settings, and preferences are stored locally in an encrypted database on your iPhone or Android device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable cloud backup.
Your Cloud Account (Optional)
If you enabled cloud backup, encrypted copies of your data are stored in your personal iCloud (iOS) or OneDrive (Android) account. We never have access to these backups.
How to Delete Your Data
Delete Data Within the App
You can selectively delete data or clear everything from within the app:
- Open NephroPulse on your device
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Data & Privacy
- Select Clear All Data to delete everything
- Confirm your choice when prompted
Uninstall the App
Uninstalling NephroPulse automatically deletes all locally stored data:
iOS
Press and hold the app icon → Tap "Remove App" → Confirm deletion
Android
Go to Settings → Apps → NephroPulse → Uninstall, or drag the app to "Uninstall"
Delete Cloud Backups (If Enabled)
If you enabled cloud backup, you'll need to delete those files from your cloud account:
iCloud (iOS)
- 1. Open Files app or iCloud Drive
- 2. Navigate to NephroPulse folder
- 3. Delete the backup files
OneDrive (Android)
- 1. Open OneDrive app or web
- 2. Navigate to NephroPulse folder
- 3. Delete the backup files
No Account to Delete
Unlike most apps, NephroPulse doesn't require you to create an account. There's no username, email, or password stored anywhere. This means there's no account deletion process needed - when you delete the app and any cloud backups, your data is completely removed.
